BOURBON announced the sale of 12 vessels to the Chinese company ICBC Financial Leasing (ICBCL) for a total value of approximately US$ 378 million, as part of the sale and bareboat charter agreement for up to 51 vessels signed with ICBCL on April 9, 2013.
Royal Caribbean’s newest ship Quantum of the Seas is taking shape at MEYER WERFT shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The Quantum will debut in fall 2014 with, followed by her sister-ship Anthem of the Seas in spring 2015.
The keel laying process for Petronas’ first floating liquefied natural gas facility (PFLNG 1) has commenced this week, marking another significant milestone in the construction of the facility at the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) shipyard in Okpo, South Korea.
