Tower Adapter Arrives at LORC Nacelle Testing Site
The 68-tonne base adapter for the LORC Nacelle Testing has arrived on site and the two misalignment couplings for the LORC Nacelle Testing facility have been produced and are being transported to the site as well.
The base adapter is where a tower adaptor will be mounted during tests on LORC Nacelle Testing for testing of wind turbines with a power output of up to 10 MW.
The misalignment coupling of nominal 3.5 MNm is used for testing of turbines of up to 3.5 MW. The larger misalignment coupling with nominal value 8.6 MNm will be used for the testing of turbines with a power output of up to 10 MW.
