Trinidad LNG Bound for Argentina

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped a cargo of  liquefied natural gas to Argentina, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the SCF Arctic, a 71.500 cubic-meter tanker, and it is due to arrive at the Escobar terminal in Argentina on May 15.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal produced 14,664,884 mt of LNG in 2011.

It is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the plant consists of four trains.

The plant has a capacity of 15.5 million mt per annum.
