Trinidad LNG cargo heading for Argentina

Trinidad and Tobago shipped an LNG cargo from the Point Fortin terminal to Argentina today, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being carried by the 138,119 cubic-meter Catalunya Spirit, and it is due to arrive at the Escobar LNG terminal on February 23.

The Escobar terminal on the Parana River has a baseload throughput capacity of 500 MMcf/d and uses Excelerate Energy’s FSRU Exemplar to flow gas into Argentina’s natural gas grid.
