Trinidad LNG Cargo Heads for Brazil

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped a liquefied natural gas cargo today, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the 137,814 cubic-meter Hispania Spirit, and the destination of the cargo is Pecem LNG terminal in Brazil.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal produced 14,664,884 mt of LNG in 2011.

It is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the plant consists of four trains.

The plant has a capacity of 15.5 million mt per annum.
