Trinidad LNG heading for Argentina

Trinidad and Tobago shipped a liquefied natural gas cargo from the Point Fortin export plant to Argentina on Wednesday.

The 87,305 cbm Arctic Spirit is expected to arrive at the Escobar LNG import terminal on September 14, according to shippiing data.

Atlantic LNG, the operator of the four-train Point Fortin liquefaction facility, produces the chilled fuel from natural gas delivered from fields in and around Trinidad and Tobago.

The export facility is capable of producing up to 100,000 cubic metres of LNG per day. LNG is shipped to various destinations including South America, Asia and Spain.
