Trinidad LNG on Way to Chile

Chile’s Quintero LNG terminal is due to receive a liquefied natural gas cargo from Trinidad and Tobago on August 10, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the the 165,000 m3 Maersk Methane, which departed from the Point Fortin terminal on Tuesday.

The Quintero terminal, which is situated 155km northwest of Santiago, has an overall annual supply capacity of 2.5 million tons of LNG.

GNL Quintero S.A. is a joint venture between Endesa Chile, ENAP, Metrogas Chile and BG Group (Enagás).
