Twelve Foreign Flagged Ships Detained in UK Ports in March 2014

Twelve foreign flagged ships were under detention in UK ports during March 2014 after failing Port State Control (PSC) inspection, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) informed today.

During March, there were six new detentions of foreign flagged vessels in UK ports. Six vessels remained under detention from previous months. Five vessels were released during March. A total of seven vessels remain under detention at the end of the month.
