U.S. offshore rig count dips

U.S. weekly offshore rig count this past week fell by one drilling unit, compared to the previous week, Baker Hughes said in its Weekly Rig Count report on Friday.


BHI Rig Count: U.S. -5 to 415 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is down 5 rigs from last week to 415, with oil rigs down 4 to 328, gas rigs down 1 to 86, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1.

U.S. Rig Count is down 479 rigs from last year at 894, with oil rigs down 340, gas rigs down 135, and miscellaneous rigs down 4.

The U.S. Offshore rig count is 24, down 1 from last week, and down 10 rigs year over year.

BHI Rig Count: Canada -1 to 36 rigs

Canadian Rig Count is down 1 rig from last week to 36, with oil rigs up 1 to 11, gas rigs down 2 to 24, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1.

Canadian Rig Count is down 39 rigs from last year at 75, with oil rigs down 5, gas rigs down 35, and miscellaneous rigs up 1.
