UK: Apache Completes Interim Repair Work on North Sea Pipeline

Apache Corporation reported that interim repair work on the Forties Bravo to Charlie pipeline was completed on March 6, 2011, and production from Forties Bravo is ramping up to approximately 50 percent of the pre-outage rate of 11,600 barrels of oil per day.

The replacement pipeline is scheduled for completion during September 2011, when the balance of the oil production is forecast to be restored.

Apache has been operating in the Forties Field in the United Kingdom sector of the North Sea since 2003. Investments in facility upgrades and integrity-related projects have increased the efficiency of Forties operations and production over the past six years.

Apache Corporation is an independent energy company that explores for, develops and produces natural gas, crude oil and natural gas liquids.
