UK books late March LNG cargo

The UK’s South Hook terminal will receive a cargo of LNG next week from the world’s largest producer of the chilled gas, Qatar, according to the Milford Haven Port Authority website.

The Al Sheehaniya LNG tanker, with a capacity of 210,oo0 cbm, is expected to arrive at the import terminal in Milford Haven on March 30.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
