UK: FoundOcean Completes North Sea Grouting Works for Saipem

FoundOcean has completed grouting operations for a four-legged wellhead jacket in a greenfield location in the North Sea. The project forms part of a three year agreement between FoundOcean and Saipem Ltd. The jacket is installed in 81m water depth and the grouting took place via a sub-sea grouting system.

Paul Burns, Operations Director for FoundOcean who worked offshore during this project commented, “We’re pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Saipem on this project and look forward to continuing the long and successful relationship between our two companies.”

Saipem Ltd has awarded FoundOcean two further North Sea grouting projects in the West Franklin and Gudrun fields as part of the three year agreement, both of which are scheduled to be completed later this year.
