UK LNG Carrier Scheduled at South Hook Next Week

The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas import terminal is expected to receive a cargo of LNG from Qatar next week, port data shows.

The  Al Khuwair LNG tanker, with a capacity of 217,000 cbm, is due to arrive at the South Hook terminal on May 23.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG per annum and is capable of delivering 21 Bcm of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
