UK: Milford Haven Port Authority Invites Tenders for Engineering Consultancy Services

Milford Haven Port Authority invites tenders for engineering consultancy services to design new lock gates in Milford Docks.

The consultancy works are expected to include the following: Pre-design, Site investigation, Design, Specification/tender, Project supervision/administration, Final report

The Milford Haven Waterway is a unique deep water facility where industry co-exists with the tranquility of the UK’s only coastal National Park. It is one of the world’s great natural deep water harbours – twenty two miles of navigable water that has been a highway and trading centre since time began.

Milford Haven is the biggest port in Wales and the third largest port in the UK; it is arguably is the largest energy port in northern Europe, handling around 65 million gross tons of shipping in 2010 and over 3000 shipping movements.
