UK: South Hook Terminal to Get LNG Cargo

The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas import terminal is expected to receive a cargo of LNG from Qatar next week, port data shows.

The Umm Slal LNG tanker, with a capacity of 266,000 cbm, is due to arrive at the South Hook terminal on April 15.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG per annum and is capable of delivering 21 Bcm of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
