UK to Get Another LNG Cargo from Qatar

The South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal in the UK is expected to receive another cargo of LNG from Qatar on April 8, according to port data.

The Al Gharrafa LNG tanker, with a capacity of 216,000 cbm, departed from Qatar’s Ras Laffan Port on Saturday.

UK’s South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 Bcm of gas a year into the country’s national transmission system.
