UK: Valiant Announces Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

 

Valiant Petroleum plc  announces the appointment of Mr Paul James Mann, 57, as Chief Operating Officer and an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st March 2011.

Mr Mann has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Glamorgan and has spent over 30 years in the international oil industry working for Royal Dutch Shell and its affiliates in Europe, the Middle East and Asia including his most recent role as Vice President Production for Shell E&P Asia Pacific.

There is no further information to be disclosed regarding Paul Mann pursuant to Schedule 2 (g) and Rule 17 of the AIM Rules.
