ULJANIK to Build Two MRs for MARFLET

The contract for the construction of two MR vessels was signed yesterday in Madrid, Spain. The vessels will have a deadweight of 50,000 tonnes and will be 183 metres long and 32.20 metres wide.

These IMO II type chemical tankers will be built by Uljanik’s subsidiary 3. Maj. The first one is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2015 and the second in 2016.

MARFLET already has five similar double-hulled vessels in its fleet, all built at Uljanik and classed by the Lloyd’s Register.
