USA: Bluefin to Demonstrate Bluefin-21 AUV at RESON User Conference

 

Bluefin Robotics, a leader in the design and manufacturing of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) announced this week that the company will be offering in-water demonstration of the Bluefin-21 AUV at the RESON User Conference to be held 31 October to 3 November at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson River.

The Bluefin-21 is a hi-navigation accuracy, survey-class AUV equipped with a side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler and RESON SeaBat 7125 Multibeam Echosounder. Bluefin personnel will walk participants through basic vehicle operations such as launch and recovery, survey planning, vehicle monitoring, and data analysis. Demonstrations will take place from the company’s own 54-foot workboat, R/V Resolution.
