USA: Ebara International Wins BW-LNG FSRU Pump Supplier Contract

The Cryodynamics Division of Ebara International Corporation announced their recent award of 10 Cryogenic Pumps for BW’s first Liquefied Natural Gas Floating Storage Regasification Unit (4ea Hull/Feed Pumps, 6ea Booster Pumps). The vessel, expected to be delivered in 2015, will be the latest addition to BW’s fleet of 16 LNG carriers.

The contract for the construction of LNG-FSRU was signed between BW and Samsung Heavy Industries in January 2013.
