USA: Global Industries Orders New Schilling UHD ROV

 

Schilling Robotics, LLC, experts in subsea systems, announced today the order for a new 200shp, 4,000-meter rated UHD™ ROV system from Global Industries for delivery in the third quarter of 2011. The UHD™ system will be supplied with a 1,500-meter capacity XE™ TMS, launch and recovery system, and topside controls equipment.

Tyler Schilling, chief executive officer for Schilling Robotics stated “Global Industries has operated Schilling UHDs™ successfully for several years now. The UHD’s™ unique power management technology has enabled Global to perform the most demanding heavy-duty subsea construction work in ultra-deep water, and we are very pleased that they have once again selected Schilling to expand their capabilities.”
