USA: Hydroid Welcomes New Team Members

Hydroid, Inc., a Pocasset-based, world-leading manufacturer of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) has welcomed two new members to its team.

Steve Brodet has joined Hydroid as an Applications Engineer. Brodet brings over 8 years’ experience as a Physical Scientist, Project Manager and Technical Lead for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) at the Coast Survey Development Laboratory where he worked to evaluate and transition emerging technologies into their hydrographic survey fleet. The testing included sonars, buoys, data processing and AUVs. Brodet holds a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Studies from Maine Maritime Academy.

Janis Delmonte has been appointed as a Software Engineer. Delmonte has worked in the computer industry for almost 30 years, developing both hardware and software for systems from minicomputers to high end servers. Most recently, she spent 17 years with Hewlett-Packard where she wrote design verification tools, and developed software simulation models and embedded management software. Delmonte has Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, and an Associate of Science in Electronics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
