USA: Navigant Wins 2012 Consultancy of the Year Award

Navigant Wins 2012 Consultancy of the Year Award

Navigant said it was named the Oil and Gas Awards “2012 Consultancy of the Year – Gulf Coast Region”. Navigant was recognized for its recent work for Gulf LNG Liquefaction Company, LLC, a U.S. based company that submitted its application for LNG export on August 31, 2012. To support the company’s application, Navigant utilized its proprietary GPCM-based gas market model to assess the long term effects of LNG exports on domestic natural gas commodity prices in both the regional and national gas markets.

“As a result of the vast amounts of technologically recoverable natural gas, we continue to work with companies in both the U.S. and abroad to help vested parties develop business strategies, gain market share and competitive advantage, and grow the bottom line,” said Gordon Pickering, a Director in Navigant’s Energy practice and co-leader of the firm’s Natural Gas team. “We are tremendously proud to receive this award and be recognized for our commitment and service to the steadily evolving natural gas sector, and to suppliers and end-users that recognize the advantages of this clean, abundant and competitive domestic resource.”

A global leader in natural gas market analysis, regulation, policy and strategy, Navigant’s experts assist both U.S. and foreign corporations, investors, governments and other industry stakeholders in understanding the transformation of the North American natural gas market. Navigant’s North American Natural Gas Supply Assessment released in 2008 was one of the first major comprehensive evaluation of the volume and value of shale gas in North America.

Navigant’s natural gas and LNG advisory services include market assessments and strategy, regulatory services and expert testimony, and wholesale commodity price and tariff analysis.
