USA: Public Call on Jacksonville Harbor Deepening Set for April

Meeting on Jacksonville Harbor Deepening Set for April

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold an evening public call in April regarding harbor deepening in response to requests from interested citizens.

Since August 2012, project leadership has invited the public to participate in bi-monthly phone updates regarding the Jacksonville Harbor Deepening Study, with calls being held in the morning.

To make it easier for people unable to join during the workday, on April 1, 2013, project managers will hold a 6:30 p.m. in addition to the regularly scheduled 10 a.m. call.

Items on the agenda include engineering and design, economics, environmental, plan formulation, schedules, and other relevant topics.
