USA: Wilton Engineering Highlights Its Capabilities at OTC 2012

Wilton Engineering Services Limited (WESL) – the design, engineering and fabrication business – is to highlight its recent successes and capabilities at one of the world’s leading oil and gas events.

Teesside-based Wilton Engineering Services Limited (WESL) is exhibiting at stand 2241/F UK sector at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, USA, (April 30-May 3) along with PD&MS Energy. Both companies are part of the Wilton Group, which has secured more than £55m ($US89m) of business in the past four months.

The company recently signed agreements to deliver large North Sea engineering projects for Subsea 7 and ConocoPhillips.

Wilton Business Development Director Des Hatfield said: “OTC offers opportunities to highlight our expertise and capabilities. The confidence and commitment to production offshore has led to opportunities for Wilton Engineering and we want to continue that momentum.”

Wilton Engineering provides bespoke, high-quality engineering design and construction solutions to the offshore and petrochemical industries from its 50-acre Port Clarence offshore base on the River Tees. Group-wide the business can offer fully integrated turnkey packages across a range of engineering sectors.

PD&MS Energy, which has 160 engineers in Aberdeen, will be highlighting its Brazil operations at Rio de Janeiro and Macae.

Founded in 1969, OTC is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection. OTC attracts more than 70,000 attendees and 2,000 exhibiting companies representing more than 110 countries.
