Vattenfall Seeks Geotechnical Contractor for Horns Rev 3

Vattenfall has invited tenders for the geotechnical investigation of Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm in Denmark.

The job on the offshore wind farm, located in the North Sea, will cover seabed CPTs to minimum 50m penetration, geotechnical boreholes (50m), P-S logging and pressure meter testing as well as geotechnical laboratory testing.

The geotechnical laboratory testing will include advanced cyclic testing and RC-test ability in offshore laboratory.

The submission deadline for the tender is April 24, 2015.

Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm will cover an area of approximately 90 km2 and will have a capacity of 400 MW.
