VERIPOS Receives Positioning Contract from Malaysian Orogenic Geoexpro

VERIPOS has been awarded a new three-year contract by Kuala Lumpur based Orogenic Geoexpro for the continued provision of services to the Malaysian company’s fleet of vessels engaged on geophysical surveys, rig moves and major construction support projects throughout South East Asia.

Services provided by VERIPOS under the new contract include a combination of its dual-beam Standard and Ultra Precise Point Positioning (PPP) facilities, supported by shipborne hardware of 30 LD3SG1 and 10 LD3G2 integrated mobile receivers. Also available is a series of proprietary software modules for real-time monitoring, control and QC operations.

Commenting on the contract award, Raymond Wong, VERIPOS’s Asia-Pacific Regional Manager in Singapore, said: “This further consolidates our working relationship with one of Malaysia’s leading survey organizations, ensuring that we remain a major supplier of quality GNSS positioning services to a wide range of South East Asian users.”
