VIDEO: IHC Hydrohammer® Installs Walney 2 Monopile Foundations
The foundations for the Walney phase 2 offshore wind turbines at sea are placed by Ballast Nedam Offshore B.V. from the Netherlands. The monopiles are transported floating towards Ballast Nedam’s heavy lift vessel Svanen, which subsequently upends and installs the monopiles with the use of an S-2000 Hydrohammer®. Here, we bring a video of the installation of two monopiles for the Walney 2 offshore wind farm:
