VIDEO: Teekay’s Peary Spirit Leaving Fayard Drydocks

Bermuda-based shipping company Teekay Corporation has shared a video of Peary Spirit, an Aframax shuttle tanker, departing Denmark’s Fayard Drydocks with the help of tugs.

With a gross tonnage of 66,563 tons, Peary Spirit features a length of 249 meters and a width of 44 meters.

The 106,000 dwt ship was built by South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) in 2011.

Peary Spirit, which flies the flag of the Bahamas, is owned by Teekay Offshore Partners, part of Teekay Corporation.

As of February 2017, Teekay Offshore Partners’ fleet currently comprises 49 owned vessels and 5 chartered-in ships, with 8 newbuildings on order, the company’s data shows.
