Sempra LNG, a unit of Sempra Energy, recently marked a milestone at its liquefaction facility in Hackberry, Louisiana.

In a brief statement through its social media channels, Sempra LNG said it completed simultaneous berthing of two LNG vessels, the Flex Ranger and the Wilpride.

The company released a video of the two vessels berthed at the facility loading respective cargoes.

The current phase of development, Phase 1 of the Cameron LNG export project includes the first three liquefaction trains that will enable the export of approximately 12 million tonnes per annum of LNG, or approximately 1.7 billion cubic feet per day.

Cameron LNG is jointly owned by units of Sempra LNG, Total, Mitsui & Co. and Japan LNG Investment, a company jointly owned by Mitsubishi Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK).

Sempra Energy indirectly owns 50.2 percent of Cameron LNG.
