Vroon’s FSV VOS Grace arrives in Aberdeen

Dutch shipping company Vroon has reported that on Wednesday July 22, the company’s Field Support Vessel (FSV) VOS Grace has arrived to its new home port of Aberdeen.

The vessel was delivered to the company at Fujian Southeast Shipyard (FSES) in Fuzhou, China on June 4, 2015 and afterwards headed to Aberdeen.

VOS Grace is the fourth and last vessel in a series of 60m (emergency response and rescue) field-support vessels that have been constructed in China for Vroon. The vessels feature a wave-piercing bow shape, DP2 and a 300m2 cargo deck.

VOS Grace will join VOS Glamour, VOS Glory and VOS Gorgeous, operating out of Aberdeen for Vroon Offshore Services.

Vroon reported yesterday that another of its newbuild vessels, ERRV VOS Famous, arrived in Aberdeen on Monday, from Jiangsu Islands Shipbuilding Industry in Nanjing, China.
