Well-SENSE Expands in US

Well-SENSE has expanded in the US with the launch of a new business and a key appointment.

The Aberdeen-based company has launched Well-SENSE Inc. as part of global expansion plans in the US. The Houston-based subsidiary will be headed up by Tad Bostick who becomes Western Hemisphere commercial director.

Prior to joining the company, Tad led Weatherford’s global reservoir monitoring product line before becoming vice president of the global production optimization business unit.

His new role will see him lead Well-SENSE Inc’s operations and expand delivery of Well-SENSE’s FiberLine Intervention technology (FLI) in the region.

Craig Feherty, Well-SENSE CEO, said: “We’re growing at a significant rate and the potential opportunities for our technology in the US are huge. We must make sure we have a team equipped to handle this growth, so Tad is a key appointment for us. As commercial director, he will be responsible for driving our business forward in the US, shaping innovation, and will be instrumental in initiating a recruitment drive for the subsidiary in the near future.”

Commenting on his appointment, Tad said: “I’m extremely pleased to join Well-SENSE. FLI is highly innovative; it offers an entirely new approach to well intervention and combines several innovative concepts in a single package.

“The dynamic team has propelled its state-of-the-art technology into the European market and I am very much looking forward to replicating this throughout the US, as we continue to achieve fantastic results with FLI.”
