Welltec man to take CFO role at Maersk Supply

Danish offshore shipowner Maersk Supply Service (MSS) has named a new chief financial officer (CFO).

Maersk Supply said on Friday that Michael Krabbe would join the company as the CFO and head of business services on December 1, 2017. He will replace Kasper Mahon Andreasen, who joined Damco for a similar position in August.

As CFO, Krabbe will report to CEO Steen S. Karstensen and will be a member of the senior management team at MSS.

Krabbe currently holds the position of CFO in Welltec and brings with him six years of senior financial management experience.

Before joining Welltec, Krabbe began his career in TDC and worked in various management positions within finance, from 2007-11 as Vice President. He holds an MSc in finance from Aarhus School of Business and an MSc in economics and finance from Warwick University.

Karstensen said: “In addition to a strong track record from different finance positions throughout his career, Michael Krabbe brings a wealth of insight about the oil and gas industry.

“Maersk Supply Service has an exciting yet challenging journey ahead where these skills will be needed. With Michael on board, we have made a strong addition to our leadership team.”
