Western Baltija Delivers Vessel ‘Anetta’

Western Baltija Shipbuilding – a part of BLRT Grupp – has finished a turnkey project and delivered a multi-purpose cargo vessel, the Anetta.

“Anneta” was constructed for the transportation of bulk and bale cargo, timber, grain, and steel coils. Apart from that, it is also fit for transportation of dangerous goods in package from classes 2 to 9 and dangerous goods in bulk classes 4, 5, and 9 (IMO IMDG code).

The vessel’s length is 89.9 m, width 14.5 m, and it is capable of sailing at a maximum speed of 11.5 knots. Deadweight of the vessel is 4600 tons, maximum draft is 5.77 meters.

“Anetta” has two cargo holds with 10 pontoon hatches, each of the cargo holds has the capacity of 2875 m3 and is equipped with a movable bulkhead.

Permissible load on cargo deck is 15 tons per m2. Maximum Continuous Rating (MCR) of the main engine is 1600 kW. Auxiliary plant consists of two 248 kW auxiliary diesel generators, 350 kW shaft generator and 70 kW emergency diesel generator. Apart from that, the vessel is equipped with bow thruster with nominal input power of 300 kW.

The concept and design of multi-purpose vessel was elaborated by Western Baltic Engineering, a part of Western Shipyard group of companies. During the process of construction, the vessel was surveyed by the classification society Lloyd‘s Register.
