Wintershall Takes AGR Software for Maria Field

Wintershall has adopted AGR well data management and analysis software tool iQx to be used for Maria field.

iQx is designed to optimize well performance and drilling management by providing a data and knowledge management platform.

Petter Mathisen, VP of our Software Solutions business unit, said: “We look forward to working with Wintershall and for iQx to help streamline the company’s well management. Our developers and the dedicated team at Wintershall will look into transferring the logging and drilling data to our platform and create working processes that will push the digitalization of well data management within the organisation.

The Maria field is located approximately 20 kilometers east of the Kristin field and about 45 kilometers south of the Heidrun field in the Halten Terrace in the Norwegian Sea. Wintershall Norge is the operator of the license with a 50% share.

The Maria reservoir will be linked via a subsea tieback to the Kristin, Heidrun and Åsgard B production platforms. The Maria well stream will go to the Kristin platform for processing while supply of water for injection into the reservoir will come from the Heidrun platform and lift gas will be provided from Åsgard B via the Tyrihans D field subsea template. P

rocessed oil will be shipped to the Åsgard field for storage and offloading to shuttle tankers. Gas will be exported via pipeline to the Åsgard Transport gas line to Kårstø.
