Wisdom Reorders at Namura

The Board of Directors at Wisdom Marine Group has given the green light for the purchase of one 81,700 dwt bulk carrier, which should be priced at around $35 million.

The vessel is to be built by Namura Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.

This bulker is the fifth vessel built for Wisdom Marine Group at Namura, with the latest newbuilds Daiwan Ace and Daiwan Brave delivered in April this year.

The payment shall be made in installments until the delivery date, which has not yet been disclosed.

Wisdom Marine Group is a Taiwanese dry bulk shipowner with a fleet of 114 vessels.

The company’s primary business is acquisition, management and operation of dry bulk vessels, with a focus on the handysize sector.
