Wood picks new president for strategy and development

Oilfield services provider Wood has appointed a new executive president for strategy and development.

Wood said on Monday that Joe Sczurko was named as the new executive president for strategy & development of Wood’s Environment & Infrastructure Services.

Before of the formation of Wood in 2017, Sczurko worked for Amec Foster Wheeler and has more than 30 years of continued service in the business, including both operational management and business development roles in consulting, engineering, operational services, and project delivery.

He is a registered professional engineer and past president of ACEC-Maine. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Brown University, a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA from the University of Southern Maine.
