REN-operated Sines LNG import terminal in Portugal is set to receive a liquefied natural gas cargo from the Novatek-led Yamal LNG facility.

Shipping data from the port of Sines shows that the Arctic LNG carrier, Fedor Litke, capable of transporting up to 172.410-cbm, is scheduled to arrive at the Sines facility on December 4.

The vessel has set off from the Yamal LNG plant on November 19 and is currently sailing off the Norwegian coast in the North Atlantic, AIS data provided by VesselsValue showed.

The Sines LNG terminal mostly receives cargoes from Nigeria, Algeria and Qatar.

Portuguese facility has a nominal sendout capacity of 600,000 cubic meters per hour (5.26 bcm per year), with a peak capacity of 900,000 cubic meters per hour.
