Master classes with Van Oord and Airborne

This year OEEC offers two master classes for young professionals and students, one with Koos van Oord, Manager Offshore at Van Oord and one with Eric van der Meer, CEO of Airborne Oil & Gas, with InContext being the program partner.

The master classes offer a unique opportunity to spend a couple of hours with a captain of industry and a small group of young talents in the offshore oil, gas and energy industry for an informal exchange of ideas and experiences, technical and non-technical.

The OEEC master classes are organized in cooperation with InContext and are meant for final year students, starters, and young professionals.

Live radio show on career options in energy at The Square

Anxious about what the bust in oil & gas and the boom in renewables can mean for your career?

Come to Community Square on the exhibition floor for a new feature of Offshore Energy. We will record a number of live radio shows at The Square on the exhibition floor, and the one on Wednesday 26 October from 12.30 to 13.30 hrs is on “Career in energy”. With Jo Peters of the Netherlands Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Association (NOGEPA), John Baken of the Top Consortium Wind at Sea and Joannes Collette of the HBO Offshore Network.


Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) is an annual event focused on the complete offshore energy industry, from oil & gas to the wind and marine energy.

The two-day event, to be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 25 & 26 October includes an exhibition where an expected 650+ supply chain companies will showcase their products and services. Next to that, there is an accompanying conference that covers key topics and solutions for the offshore community.

Offshore Energy is the fastest growing gathering of offshore industry professionals. Founded in 2008, Offshore Energy has been breaking records year after year. The 2015 edition attracted 11,865 unique attendees representing 86 nationalities.
