Zeebrugge awaits LNG cargo

Belgium’s Zeebrugge import terminal, operated by Fluxys, will receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas on September 11.

The Al Deebel LNG tanker, with a capacity of 145,700 cubic meters, is sailing from Ras Laffan in Qatar, port data reveals.

The Zeebrugge terminal imports LNG mainly from Qatar. A total of 1,351 ships unloaded at the LNG terminal between the start of commercial activities in 1987 and the end of 2013.
