Zeebrugge awaits more Qatari LNG

Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge LNG terminal is set to receive another cargo of Qatari liquefied natural gas. 

According to the shipping data, the 145,602 cbm Milaha Qatar LNG carrier has set off from the Ras Laffan port on September 1 and is scheduled to dock at Zeebrugge’s jetty on September 22.

The Samsung Heavy Industries built vessel is under a long-term fixed time charter agreement with RasGas.

Zeebrugge LNG terminal consists of 4 LNG tanks totaling 380,00 cbm, a truck loading station, an existing jetty with one more jetty under construction and due to be completed this year.

Fluxys said the second jetty will be operational from 2016 onwards and it will able to receive carriers with an LNG capacity between 2,000 and 217,000 cbm.
