Zeebrugge awaits Qatari LNG cargo

Belgium’s Zeebrugge LNG terminal is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar at the end of March.

According to the shipping data, the 156,000 cbm WilForce LNG carrier departed Qatar’s Ras Laffan complex on March 12.

The 2013-built LNG vessel is scheduled to deliver the cargo to the Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge LNG terminal on March 28.

The LNG carrier was built for the Norwegian LNG shipper Awilco by the South Korean Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
