Zeebrugge books two Qatari LNG cargoes

Belgium’s Zeebrugge LNG terminal operated by Fluxys is scheduled to receive two cargoes from the world’s largest LNG producer, Qatar.

NYK’s 149,700-cbm Grace Barleria is expected to dock at Zeebrugge terminal’s jetty on August 7, shipping data by the Port of Zeebrugge shows.

The second cargo will be delivered onboard the 145,700-cbm Al Jassasiya, owned by Maran Gas, which is due to dock at Zeebrugge on August 18, according to the data.

Fluxys is currently building the terminal’s second jetty and the fifth storage tank at Zeebrugge.

The second jetty is expected to be operational this year with the fifth storage tank scheduled to start operations by late 2018, according to Fluxys.
