Zhenjiang Port Development Plan Moves Forward

On January 28, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid for the Runhua universal logistics terminal project in Yangzhong zone of Zhenjiang Port, Jiangsu Province, with a contract value of 112 million yuan and a construction period of 15 months.

Located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with a designed annual throughput of 7.96 million tons, the project is in high-piled beam & slab terminal structure, involves a 70000t bulk berth, a 70000t universal berth, eight 1000t berths in the interior basin and auxiliary facilities.

The project is of great significance to promoting the healthy development of the grain logistics industry and grain & oil industry in the areas along Zhenjiang Port and the economic leap of the port’s rear hinterland.
