Zhenjiang Shipyard Launches New Multi-Functional Support Vessels

Zhenjiang shipyard successfully launched another 78m safety standby & rescue/support vessel on July 1st. Owner representatives, CISCO representatives and leaders along with representatives from Zhenjiang NPC attended the launching ceremony.

This series of 78m Multi-Functional Support Vessels (MFSVs) can accommodate more than 200 persons, has a four-point mooring system for long-term locating and DP2 system for short-term locating and a 64 ton main crane located on the main deck for lifting operations at sea and platform.

This multi-function vessel combined with azimuth propulsion system represents the future in ocean engineering and has a wide market prospects.
