China’s Zhuhai LNG import terminal received a cargo from Equatorial Guinea on January 4.

According to Argus report, the cargo was loaded in early December at the EGLNG plant and delivered onboard the Höegh LNG’s 170,000 cbm FSRU Höegh Gallant, that has been chartered to BG Group until mid-January before beginning its charter deal with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company.

The Zhuhai LNG import terminal, operated by CNOOC, received its last cargo in October from Qatar, the only cargo in the second half of last year.

This was Höegh Gallant’s first cargo and as Höegh LNG informed the vessel could be used for further spot charter after the BG deal expires and before it is delivered to Egypt at the end of March.
