ZPMC, COSL Sign Contract for Two Deepwater AHTS Units

On June 19, ZPMC and China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) held the signing ceremony for two deepwater AHTS units, marking ZPMC’s first AHTS order and adding a new ship type to its offshore engineering sector.

As the largest and most advanced flagship type among CNOOC’s three-purpose working ships under fabrication, the ship plays a leading role among similar ships in the world in terms of technical level and operation capacity. This order is scheduled to be delivered in batches in May 2015.

As the first cooperation between ZPMC and COSL, subordinate to CNOOC, this marks a milestone in the deep cooperation between the two sides which is a model for high-end operation and central enterprise combination and is ZPMC’s active exploration to march towards the high-end offshore engineering market and step up the transformation of its offshore engineering strategy.
