OSX Names New Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer

OSX Brasil S.A., a Brazilian publicly held corporation, focused in the provision of equipment and services to the offshore oil and gas industry, by means of integrated operations in shipbuilding, leasing of exploration and production (E&P) units, and operation and maintenance (O&M) services has named a new Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer.

Mr. João Borges Neto shall become the new OSX’s Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer, replacing Mr. Roberto Bernardes Monteiro, who shall now take the same role at OGX Petróleo e Gás Participações S.A., OSX’s anchor client, in charge of the largest private oil and gas exploratory campaign in Brazil.

João Borges Neto will join OSX’s Executive Board on 06/18/2012. Roberto Monteiro will keep his current duties at OSX and his new duties at OGX until 05/04/2012, when he will become exclusively focused in his new OGX duties, while his OSX duties will be taken over by OSX’s CEO Luiz Carneiro until the investiture of João Borges Neto.

OSX’s new CFO and Investor Relations Officer was a Managing Director at Citibank, responsible for the oil and gas sector, until March 2012. He has extensive professional experience acquired over 20 years in financial institutions such as Itaú BBA, Unibanco and BBA Creditanstalt, in structuring securities transactions and Project Finance operations. He has a bachelor’s degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo (PUC – SP) and an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Our anchor client OGX, with its new oil and gas exploration, production and trading dimensions, may now count on Roberto Monteiro’s talent in its Executive Board. The entire OSX team acknowledges and thanks Roberto for his contribution for OSX’s achievements during these two and a half years. For the future, OSX will count on Mr. João Borges Neto’s experience in structured finance operations in the oil and gas sector, keeping our capital structure compatible with our business plan. Their professionalism and expertise will certainly contribute to the success of both companies.” stated Luiz Carneiro , CEO of OSX BRASIL S.A.
