Nantong Mingde Shipyard Delivers PCTC VIKING SEA

Nantong Mingde Heavy Industry Group (Nantong Mingde) held, November 2nd, Delivery and Acceptance signing ceremony for the vessel “VIKING SEA”. This Pure Car Truck Carrier (PCTC), with the capacity for 4,300 units, comes as the 6th and last vessel that Norwegian company Gram Car Carriers AS has ordered from Nantong Mingde.

VIKING SEA, featuring the latest technical equipment onboard like the HHI MAN B&W MC-E main engine, is built with single pillar support structure and incorporates hinge design hull construction, thus allowing maximized cargo carrying capability for the vessel.
