Three More for Japanese Yards

Wisdom Marine Group is back at Japanese yards with the order for three new vessels.

The company’s Board of Directors (BOD) approved a few days ago the purchase of two 81,000 DWT bulk carriers from Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.

The Panamax duo, with the price tag of approx. $60 million, follows Wisdom’s recent decision to buy two 38,000 DWT and three 63,000 DWT bulkers from the same yard.

Also, the company has placed an order for one 55,000 DWT bulk carrier to be constructed at Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
